On September 7, 2024, I joined over 10,000 cyclists in Washington, D.C., for the annual DC Bike Ride. As a staff member of the World Bank, participating in this event was more than just a recreational activity—it was a powerful statement about our commitment to sustainable and inclusive mobility.
